say good-bye to summer!

It's official... today is the first day of fall. This year feels different.... I am actually excited for this new approaching season. Fresh & crisp smells in the air, warm knitted sweaters, white pumpkins, fires, cute suede boots, darker & richer colors, plaid, and my 24th bday. Yep, it's going to be a great season.

vintage stamps...

...wishing right now that I didn't throw away my stamp collection as a kid! I would have collected them, saved them, then loaded them up on my wedding invites.

the way to my <3...

... chocolate... enjoy these mouth-watering intangible images by Rich's Chocolates & Candies from Chicago...

"Taylor Street" from the Windy City Collection.a chocolate 'cannoli' filled with white chocolate blended with ricotta, pistachios and cinnamon.

Various molded chocolates, all hand-decorated. Old school boom box and a horse head?! Get real!

Bite-sized Honey and Sea Salt caramels.

These may be the best turtles I've ever had. They start with thier "delicious honey and sea salt caramel, add freshly roasted pecans, dip them in rich dark chocolate, and top with a sprinkling of Maldon sea salt".

it's all about the food...

this is what we all need: a simple kitchen to take the distractions out of what the sole purpose is... Well, another great purpose of the kitchen is to bring people together, but I like the old world simplicity to this one, the colors are great as well!
